Although there was a breeze, it was a nice winter day with sunny skies and seasonal temperatures for the Eastern Regional Draft Horse Association’s 17th Annual Sleigh Rally on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017. There was just enough snow to use sleighs but where there was no snow, a wagon was also used for rides.
Thank you to all the club members who helped out with the sleigh rally, especially to Jim and Barb Hemstreet for all they did to organize this event. Also, thank you to the club members who brought their teams to give rides: Bill and Teri Clark, Frank and Debbie Bradt, Drew and Carol Gregg, and Joel and Denise Ferguson.
The spring dinner meeting will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, 6:30 p.m., at the Ephratah Rod & Gun Club, State Highway 67, Ephratah, NY. This year’s club activities will be discussed. More information about this meeting will follow at a later date.
A Youth & Novice Spring Driving Clinic is being planned for April. More information will be available when it is finalized.
