Forbes131-034-13STCMorton, IL (October 30, 2013) — With little equines on their minds, members of The American Shetland Pony Club/American Miniature Horse Registry will meet for their 2013 national convention in Lexington, November 5-10, 2013.
This annual event conducts business for all American Shetland divisions as well as for the following registries: the American Miniature Horse Registry, the American Show Pony Registry and the National Sport Performance Show Pony Registry.   Additionally, business is also reviewed for all member programs – from breeders to youth to amateur to officials – for the entire organization


In addition to the business conducted, the Bluegrass Convention Committee is offering motor coach tours to “Experience the Bluegrass.”  Guide tours of historic sites and local landmarks are part of this special opportunity.


Action items at this year’s meetings include Bylaw updates, rule changes, award presentations, educational clinics, fun activities and more.

The American Shetland Pony Club, the American Show Pony Registry and The American Miniature Horse Registry are non-profit organizations established to preserve and refine the bloodlines of these small equines and promote the enjoyment of small equines.
